Jen’s Dogs is devoted to educating and empowering owners to train their dogs through force-free, science-based training techniques. This means that there will be no talk of being the ‘alpha’ and getting your dog to ‘submit’ to you. This is old fashioned and outdated thinking that has been scientifically proven to be false (even by the original scientist who proposed it). Read more about this here. Jen’s Dogs uses a mixture of positive reinforcement and concept training to get you the results that you desire. At Jen’s Dogs, we believe that no dog is untrainable and through the correct use of positive, humane force free measures any dog can be your dream pet.

 

Jen is a qualified dog trainer dedicated to helping people live harmoniously with their dogs. Animals have always been a big part of Jen’s life and her family home was full of pets. Jen’s love of animals led her to work at Raystede Animal Rescue Sanctuary while she studied Molecular Genetics at university. After university Jen built a career in web analytics and accountancy, and developed the skills she needed to take the leap and set up a successful dog-walking business in southwest London.

 

This enabled Jen to adopt her beautiful Welsh Collie x Australian Kelpie, Bella. Bella is a true Collie and loves nothing more than chasing anything (and anyone) on wheels: skateboards are her favourite.

 

Bella led Jen into the world of dog training and has kept her on her toes ever since. After hard studying and lots of practice with Bella, Jen became a qualified Pro Dog Trainer.

 

Jen and Jen’s Dogs have helped many customers to train and bond with their best friends, and turn them into their ideal companions. Jen’s Dogs has since expanded and in 2021 we moved into our beautiful new venue in Sevenoaks Weald so we can help even more customers. We’d love to help you too.
